Aside from property management places and craigslist, has anyone seen, or does any know of, any good places (apts, townhouses, single fam homes) to rent in Flagstaff? My sis is moving to Flag and could use a heads up. Not a punkhouse as she has kids. If you know of anything let me know via the forum.

i lived at the cottage house prior a brief experience in portland oregon- and gave my room up to the "sex offender" who currently lives there. i would neither like to excuse his actions nor elaborate on an already convoluted tale which unfortunately has scarred the lives of many bright individuals- young and old; male and female. rather i would like to explain the reasons i have opened myself up to him and adamantly defend his humanity.

i do not believe that ostracizing any human being will make for a positive change in the energy they put out into the world; though excommunicating someone no doubt keeps the problems of the past out of the mind and eyes of the community. from what i have gathered- the resident in question was in no way restraining the alleged victim or attempting to conceal himself or for that matter showing any sign of consciousness at the time he inappropriately handled himself. i hesitate to say that he has had a history of depressive neediness; probably born of abandonment and possibly even a history of psycho-sexual abuse. whether or not he or i are either "right" or "wrong" i believe he is less likely to shut down and act out of his insecurities when i take the time to be there for him as a friend. i think i could be a hell of a lot better to him than i have. he could also rise above his history and learn from his mistakes. i do not think it helps that the only communication in the matter is directed all around his perimeter and no attention whatsoever is paid to his person and feelings.

I ask only that we all will find it in our hearts to forgive; if only to make the world a better place for the lot of us.

fuel not the fires of fear- lest they consume our hopes and burn in the eyes by which we have all witnessed the sanctity of cooperation and communication. in allowing for reminders of the more painful pieces of our communal history we will help to make clear the path to a better future. grief is a necessary emotion when living in terms of unconditional love. anger is a product of fear and self-doubt.

mihio, it was great. it rained in town but out there we had a beautiful sunset. it was at Two Guns in the abandoned KOA. the cops came and left. we pulled in about 77 dollars. i still owe ash, argent, desi, and others for all their contributions. it was pretty great for everyone i think. we thought greg's generator was stolen, but it had gotten returned.
plans are in motion for 8/8/8. we hope to see you there

going to 777?
tickets are seven dollars. maybe five, fuck it.

we have two venues. neither of which are the zen inn.
having three rumored venues can be a distraction and confusing
but today is the thirty third day of 'the season of confusion.'

thirty three miles into the rising sun. f flagstaff. exit 230
can't miss us.

this last factor is the reason we have two venues.
i feel nervous that venue one is a trap.
tarot reading today will lie to me enough to assess probability factors.

venue two is an ancient and holy gateway. i don't believe* that my community has it in them to respect it.(?)
disconcerting, vandalizing, punk rock'ckers. tickets are seven
anyway, the venue two gateway will be there, for everyone who escapes the guns, helicopters, and tasers.
but conditional guidelines for our conduct there will be necessary. plan on it. full tank car poolers a must.

there will be plenty of room to break bottles and spray paint and shit on the floor at venue one.
despite the historic negativity at this location... banishing, cleaning and blessing rituals
will be held THIS friday afternoon into evening and saturday.
i feel we need all the luck plane manipulation we can get.

this runs on blood has confirmed that they'll play three sets in three locations independent of one another, all out there at the zen inn.
we were going to pour the first new form out there today. fifty mile an hour gusts have ripped the structures out.

i can't confirm yet, but bands from Milwaukee and LA have inquired about performing 777.
